Aggieland Illustrated magazine was created in May 2006 by three Aggies with a sincere passion
for Texas A&M sports and a desire to promote and publish the very best Aggieland has to offer.
The first issue was launched in September 2006 featuring Stephen McGee on the cover. Six issues were
produced during each of the first two years covering every moment in Aggie sports. In August 2007,
AI hired its first and only full-time employee to handle advertising sales. The rest of the staff
work other full-time jobs and produce the magazine in their spare time. In September 2008,
AI increased frequency to eight issues per year to provide more coverage year-round. Pictured above with Acie Law IV are (l to r) Jeremy Ksionda '04 (Managing Editor),
Brian Davis '01 (Publisher/Editor), Jason McConnell '01 (Associate Editor/Photo Editor)
and Rob Havens '88 (Advertising Sales Manager).
